Frequently asked questions
What is RAYBREAKER?
A neon twin-stick shooter with the loot heart of an action RPG, made for PC and Steam Deck. You fly 10-minute runs through six bands of a shattered spectrum, read the swarm, break its bosses and bring home gear that rewrites your build. Solo or in co-op for two.
When does it come out?
There is no release date yet. RAYBREAKER is coming soon to Steam and releases as the complete game: six bands, the finale and the endgame. Its Steam page opens soon; then wishlist it and Steam lets you know the moment it is out. Every wishlist helps us.
Which platforms?
PC with Windows or Linux (SteamOS) through Steam, and Steam Deck. There is no Mac version.
How does it run on Steam Deck?
It is built and tuned for the Deck: 90 fps on Steam Deck OLED, Deck controls and button prompts, menus made for the handheld screen. Valve's official compatibility rating follows its review.
Can I play with a friend?
Yes, co-op for two: side by side on one screen or online via Steam. Each pilot plays their own profile and keeps their own loot.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Solo you play fully offline. Online co-op runs through Steam.
Mouse and keyboard or controller?
Both. Xbox and PlayStation controllers and the Steam Deck come with their own button prompts, and every button can be rebound.
Which languages?
English and German.
What about accessibility?
Three colour-blind modes, reduced flashing, sliders for screen shake and slow motion, UI scale from 75 to 150 % and free rebinding. Photosensitivity warning: the game contains fast flashing lights and patterns. A reduced-flashing option is available in the settings.
Did you use AI?
Text, translations and music were created with the help of AI tools and reviewed by our team.

This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking and no third-party services. The game sends us nothing; Steam features such as online co-op run through Valve.
